I remember asking my grandma on her 92nd birthday what it felt like to be 92. She told me she was a 50 year old woman trapped in a 92 year old body. I got quite the chuckle --could be because I was in my early forties at the time. I'm not laughing now. I didn't have a problem turning forty, even fifty, but sixty made me feel old. Hard to believe that I was that age---where did the time go? BUT it is even worse thinking I have to sign up for Social Security today. Good grief!! I'm becoming my parents and grandparents. So this morning I was determined to find something good about being eligible for SS. I CAN BUY MORE MATERIAL AND YARN!! WHoopee!!!! Unfortunately I don't think that is in my husbands plan. HA! So when I dream and don't look in the mirror I can still envision that 17 year old dancing on the beach to the Beach Boys and cruising with my sweetheart in a Corvette convertible. I guess that's what memories are for.
Out to Lunch.
